Ti Tốp Island.

Ti Tốp is a small island in Hạ Long Bay. From its viewpoint, water and limestone islands spread into a wide panorama, a way to take in the bay from above.

Looking across the bay

The Hạ Long Bay heritage authority says the island was called Cát Nàng before 1962. After President Hồ Chí Minh and Soviet cosmonaut Gherman Titov visited in 1962, the name Ti Tốp was proposed to commemorate the visit.

Ti Tốp offers a different perspective from the caves on Bồ Hòn: from the island’s higher viewpoint, limestone islands and open water share a wide frame. The official guide also describes a beach at the island.
